What is the Sambad Result API?

The Sambad Result API is a simple delivery system for websites that want to receive লটারি সংবাদ result data from Sambad.tv. After a website is connected, result images and result text can be sent automatically for the allowed draw times.

The image may be delivered first. If result text is not ready yet, the sender checks again and sends the text when it becomes available.

OPTION 1

Connect a WordPress Website

Download WordPress Receiver v7.0.0

Use this option when the customer website runs on WordPress. No coding is required.

  1. Download the Receiver plugin. Use the button above.
  2. Install it in WordPress. Go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP, install and activate it.
  3. Open Lottery Receiver. In WordPress Admin, open the Lottery Receiver menu.
  4. Enter the API Key. Paste the API Key supplied by Sambad.tv and click Connect.
  5. Add the result shortcodes. Put the required image and text shortcodes on any page or post.
  6. Done. The connected website can now receive the allowed result data automatically.

OPTION 2

Connect a Normal PHP / HTML Website

Download Standalone Receiver v1.0.0

Use this option when the customer has normal PHP hosting and does not want to use WordPress.

  1. Download and extract the Standalone Receiver.
  2. Upload the receiver folder to the customer hosting, for example https://example.com/lottery-sambad-standalone-receiver/.
  3. Open that folder URL in a browser. The setup screen will appear.
  4. Enter the setup details: Sender URL, API Key, customer homepage URL, website name, receiver folder URL and receiver admin password.
  5. Click Connect Receiver. The receiver registers its endpoints with the Sambad.tv sender.
  6. Display the result. Use the ready-made iframe embed or the public JSON result endpoint.

Change 1pm to 6pm or 8pm as required.

For a previous date, add the date parameter:

Recommended hosting: PHP 7.4 or newer, HTTPS, writable data/ and results/ folders. PHP 8.x is recommended.

How the secure connection works

Optional Result Source credit

Connected websites may show a Sambad.tv Result Source credit to identify where the result data comes from. This credit is optional and is not required for API delivery.

Result Source: Sambad.tv Result API Results are for reference only; accuracy is not guaranteed.

Removing or hiding this optional source credit does not pause image or result-text delivery.

Which receiver should I use?

WordPress Website

Choose লটারি সংবাদ Receiver v7.0.0. Best for WordPress users. Install the plugin, enter the API Key and use shortcodes.

Normal PHP Hosting

Choose Standalone Receiver v1.0.0. Best for PHP/HTML websites without WordPress. Upload the folder, connect and use iframe or JSON.

Quick troubleshooting

API Key does not connect

Check that the API Key is active, the Sender URL is correct and the receiver website is publicly accessible over the internet.

Image arrives but text does not appear yet

This can be normal when the result image becomes available before the text. The sender can send the image first and send the text automatically when it becomes available.

Can localhost receive results?

No. The sender must be able to reach the receiver endpoint from the internet. Use a public HTTPS domain, subdomain, temporary hosting URL or staging URL.

Can I use only ১ PM or only ৬ PM?

Yes. Access can be enabled only for the draw times assigned to that API Key.

Where do I get an API Key?

API Keys are issued by Sambad.tv for approved connections. Contact Sambad TV for access.
